New Edmonton Coffee Roaster
Introducing our Coffee of the Month: Baragwi Kian Jiru, a double washed coffee from Kenya. Grown in the high altitudes of the Baragwi farm, this coffee is a blend of the Sl28 and Sl34 varietals, known for their bright acidity and complex flavor profiles. The double washed process used to process this coffee allows the unique terroir of the Baragwi farm to shine through in the cup.
Double Washed Kenyian
When it comes to taste, Baragwi Kian Jiru does not disappoint. The first sip reveals a burst of lemon tartness, reminiscent of a fresh squeezed lemonade on a hot summer day. As the coffee cools, the flavors of Earl Grey tea and maple syrup come through, adding a hint of sweetness and a touch of warmth.
A Passionated Duo
This coffee is roasted by Candid, a micro-roaster based in Edmonton, run by Levi & Rachel, passionate and dedicated coffee enthusiasts who have been in the industry for the last four years. Levi takes great care in selecting only the finest beans and roasts them to perfection, ensuring that each cup of Candid coffee is a truly enjoyable experience.
So, why not treat yourself to a cup of Baragwi Kian Jiru and taste the flavors of Kenya in every sip? And if you're lucky, you might even catch Levi serving it up at one of our locations.
