Reducing our impact

At Café Fabrique, we are committed to being a carbon-neutral company by 2030. As a company, we are always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact and operate more sustainably. That's why we're excited to announce our commitment to becoming a carbon-neutral company. We believe that it is our responsibility to future generations to leave the planet in a better state than we found it, and we are committed to doing our part to fight climate change. By making this commitment, we hope to set an example for other businesses and encourage more people to take action on climate change. Together, we can make a difference.

Here's how we do it

Reducing emissions
We have implemented several changes in our business practices to achieve this goal. First, we have reduced the size of our packaging. This not only reduces the amount of material we use, but also the amount of energy required to produce and ship our products.

For shipping, we use repurposed packaging materials. We now use recycled materials whenever possible, and we encourage our customers to recycle or reuse our packaging.

Finally, we use renewable energies. We now use hydroelectricity to power all our facilities, and we are exploring other ways to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. To lower energy usage, we have reduced our heating losses by further isolating the buildings.

Offsetting Emissions
We partnered with leading carbon removal companies that are working on innovative solutions to climate change. We are proud to support their efforts to develop new technologies and remove carbon from the atmosphere. This can be done through nature-based solutions, such as reforestation and soil carbon sequestration, or technological solutions, such as direct air capture.

Some of the companies we support include: 44.01, Carbofex, CarbonBuilt, CarbonCure, Charm Industrial, Climeworks, DroneSeed, Grassroots Carbon, Heirloom Carbon, Loam, Noya, Pachama, Planetary, Remora, Running Tide, and Sustaera.
