How do you make espresso martinis?

The traditional way to make an espresso martini is to join the espresso with coffee liqueur, usually Kahlúa, and a spirit. Making for a balanced mix of caffeine, booze and sweetness! Shake all the ingredients together for that perfect foam - it's almost too beautiful not to Instagram! The Recipe


  • 1 shot of Espresso
  • 1 1/2 oz of Vodka
  • 1/2 oz Rum
  • 1 oz Simple syrup
  • 1 dash of Vanilla extract
  • 3 drops of Orange bitters
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish (optional) - coffee beans


1. Combine the espresso, vodka, rum, simple syrup and vanilla extract in a shaker filled with ice cubes.

2. Shake vigorously for at least 15 seconds until it’s cold and frothy.

3. Pour into a chilled martini glass, add three drops of orange bitters and your desired garnish.
