Given that 98% of your coffee is water, understanding its composition is essential. The Third Wave Water TDS Meter measures total dissolvable solids, helping you use the ideal mineral content for superior brewing. If you purchase minerals, having your own TDS meter is beneficial.
- Verify the water you are adding Third Wave Water to is truly 'empty' as recommended (distilled water, reverse osmosis, etc.)
- Test your current water to see if minerals are present
Precisely Calibrated
This TDS Meter is factory-calibrated to ensure an accuracy of ±2%, offering TDS measurements in water as PPM or mg/L. Readings range from 0-1000 in 1 TDS increments and from 1000 to 9999, indicated with an x 10 symbol.
NOTE: The TDS meter will NOT define which minerals are present in your water, only that something is there. The cap can also be used to hold water to measure. Simply fill cap then insert meter and use as normal.
