NextLevel Pulsar Brewer Overview

NextLevel strives to constantly improve, so they brought on coffee-obsessed astrophysicist Jonathan Gagné to the team to help develop a new brewer, the Pulsar.

Jonathan suggested adding a variable flow-rate valve as well as several other small modifications to the LVL-10, and we’re thrilled with the results! The valve allows the option of a long “steeped” bloom for more efficient prewetting of the coffee grounds. The valve and the “no bypass” brewer design provide an unlimited number of possible combinations of immersion and percolation. Your imagination is the only limitation.

The Pulsar Brewer features a thoughtfully engineered dispersion cap that ensures even water saturation. The brew bed is flat, eliminating any bypass and guaranteeing uniform water-to-coffee contact. The brewer also comes with a variable control valve that you can fully close for extended bloom phases or steep-and-release brewing, giving you an unparalleled level of precision and versatility.

Pulsar Features

Flow Control

With the Pulsar brewer, you have complete control over agitation and flow rate, making it easy to retain water during the blooming phase. The control valve enhances this by allowing you to fully close the outlet for an extended bloom phase or enable a steep-and-release full immersion brew.

Diffused Pouring

Start a controlled brew with uniform wetting using the precisely designed dispersion cap. The engineered showerhead diffuses water evenly over the coffee grounds, maintaining a consistent height and drip rate.

High Versatility

The valve and the "no bypass" brewer design provide an unlimited number of possible combinations of immersion and percolation

No Water Bypass

Eliminate water bypass in the coffee bed and control brew strength. The 77mm wide flat bottom brew bed with vertical walls ensures full saturation and even water-to-coffee contact, reducing channelling.

Heat Retention

The combination of thermally stable plastic and a dispersion cap enhances slurry temperatures. Tritan copolyester, paired with the dripper cap, boosts heat retention for a more consistent brew.

Volume Markings

Detailed volume markings on barrel enable repeatable results with greater precision.
