Kinu M47 Classic Overview

Kinu quickly became a top choice for hand grinders with the M47, showcasing their commitment to quality through durable materials, advanced burr coatings, and precise adjustments in a compact unit. Now, the M47 Classic leads their range, including the Simplicity and Phoenix models.

Upon unboxing the Kinu M47, its excellent build quality is immediately apparent. Constructed from stainless steel with precisely machined steel struts, it ensures stability and perfect axle alignment during use. The grinding process is smooth, facilitated by two sets of ball bearings. For comfort, the thumb stopper and crank handle are made from ABS plastic, and the magnetic grinds catch simplifies clean-up by eliminating threading.

Kinu's Classic grinder offers a precise stepless adjustment that allows for clear, large-scale settings with 50 marks per revolution and a well-defined zero-point. This granularity, with each mark equating to 0.01 mm of burr movement, enables exact grind settings ideal for anything from espresso to coarse brews.

Available with Espresso Burr or Pour Over Burr: Espresso Burr model includes Stainless Steel Catch Cup; Pour Over Burr Model includes the new Aluminum Catch Cup with 11 magnet attachments.

The micrometrical step-less adjustment system provides ultimate precision in grind size selection, with up to 50 divisions (each representing a 0.01mm adjustment) per revolution of the dial for nearly unlimited and reliably reproducible settings; easily accessible and adjustable from the top.

The M47 Classic includes a 'click' feeling system at each of the 50 divisions of the dial.

Full-metal mechanical construction features auto-centering morse cone drive shaft alignment for superior grind consistency.

Professional grade 47mm hardened steel (63HRC) conical burrs with proprietary black-fusion (for Espresso Burr) or TiN (for Pour Over Burr) treatment for improved performance and longevity.

Dual steel ball-bearing mounts provide for ultra-smooth grinding operation.

Unique and ergonomic anti-rotational thumb-stop allows for a softer grip and more comfortable use.

The Pour Over Burr model is equipped with the Aluminum Catch Cup with 11 magnet attachment; clearance between this cup's brim and burr outlet is wider than with the Stainless Steel version, making it suitable for any grinding application, whereas the Stainless Steel cup may prevent larger particles from falling through.

Easy to fill from above (funnel opening) without removing crank handle; easy to disassemble and clean, with no tools required.
