Easy Programming
The Gaggia Magenta Prestige provides top-notch beverage programming that embodies the best of what Gaggia has to offer. Taking inspiration from the Cadorna series, the Magenta grants you complete control over every item on the menu, allowing you to customize the temperature, brew strength (or pre-ground coffee), and volume for all coffee drinks, as well as the desired quantity of milk for applicable drinks.
The drink menu boasts a total of 12 selections, catering to modern tastes and including: ristretto (x2), espresso (x2), espresso lungo (x2), coffee (x2), americano, cappuccino, café au lait, café cortado, frothed milk, flat white, latte macchiato, and hot water.
Adjustable Metal Tray
To accommodate such a diverse range of drink options, the Magenta is equipped with a top-quality steel cup riser that can be placed on the drip tray for taller cups or locked onto the front of the machine to bring your cup closer to the spouts and prevent splashing. The drip tray cover itself is a first-rate piece of fitted steel that attaches magnetically for a more high-end fit and finish.
Auto-Frothing Carafe
The highlight of the Magenta Prestige is undoubtedly the auto-frothing carafe. Securing onto the front of the machine, the carafe froths and dispenses milk automatically when preparing a milk-based drink.
Once the brewing process is complete, the quick clean feature lets you rinse the carafe before the next use, and a deep clean function can be accessed from within the Magenta’s menu. When not in use, you can store the carafe in the refrigerator and insert the included water spout attachment in its place.
