Politique d'expédition

We ship your order from our warehouse in Windsor, Quebec. Our warehouse team works closely with our front office, and we are all dedicated to accuracy, efficiency, and quality packaging.

As soon as your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information via email from us (unless an untracked shipping method was selected at checkout). Once your order has been shipped, please feel free to contact the shipping carrier directly for any delivery-related updates.

We aim to ship the same or the next business day, depending on the time of day you place your order, but may have a delay during peak holiday seasons. 

Shipping Costs

Orders over $75 (before taxes) within Canada qualify for free standard shipping. For all orders within Canada under $75, we charge a flat rate of $12 or less.

Orders over $75 to the Continental USA ship free (standard shipping). Orders to other countries are charged the actual shipping cost to that area. 

We mostly use Canada Post, and UPS or DHL when needed. 

*Please note: areas that are hard to access by shipping carriers and P.O. boxes may not qualify for free shipping or flat rates.

Express Shipping

Whenever possible, we prioritize orders with express shipping. That being said, we print our last batch of orders at 12pm EST, so if you're placing an order with express shipping between 12-3:30pm, please give us a call at 1-367-777-0488, and we'll do our best to make sure it ships out the same day.

Packaging

We could buy a new box for every order and pass the cost on to you... but we prefer to reuse packaging that has been sent to us - not only to keep your price down but because it's just better for the environment. If your package comes with bubble wrap, it's secondhand. If you have packing peanuts in your box, they're also second-hand! When we do need to use brand-new packaging, we try to find the most eco-friendly products available.  

Pre-Orders

We don't want you to have to wait for all the fun gear that you've ordered just because one of the items is a pre-order, so please purchase pre-orders separately or your entire order will be held for shipping until the pre-order product arrives at our warehouse.

Import and Duties

If, like us, you've ever ordered online from a US company, you'll know that it's a gamble whether or not you'll be charged at the border with duties, taxes, and high brokerage fees (sometimes more than the value of the item!). Shipping costs are often higher, and sometimes your warranties aren't even valid in Canada. And that's all if you've managed to get to the final checkout page without finding a "State" field that only lists 50 options.

We've taken care of all the Canadian duties and taxes for you - and no nasty "extra charges" surprise when your package is delivered. The personal exemption into Canada from other countries is only $20, so if you order anything online from outside of Canada, your purchase is likely to be taxed upon delivery.

For our US and international customers, you may be billed by your government for import fees based on your countries import guidelines when your order crosses into your country. The personal exemption amount into the United States is $800, so if your order is valued less than this, you will not be taxed upon delivery. Your warranty and support is valid with us no matter where in the world you are.

Canada Post Expedited is fast, cost-effective ground shipping within Canada. All items can be tracked and have on-time guarantees.

Canada Post Xpresspost

Get next day and 2-day shipping with Xpresspost. All items are tracked, delivery times are guaranteed and delivery status can be checked online.

US CUSTOMERS:

Canada Post Small Packet USA Air

~5-8 Business Days

Our most affordable, but untracked shipping option to the US for small items that generally takes 5-8 business days to arrive, however, can take up to 4-weeks depending on carrier order volumes. Please be advised that this method does NOT include tracking, and that Canada Post does not give an on-time delivery guarantee.

Cafe Fabrique will not be responsible for packages that arrive late or are lost using this method, and we won’t be able to provide you with information about the whereabouts of your package beyond what you’re able to see in your shipping confirmation email. 

Canada Post Tracked Packet USA

4-8 business days

The best mix of economy and security for small items, this method includes full tracking details. It does not include an on-time delivery guarantee from Canada Post, so Cafe Fabrique will not be responsible for issues arising as a result of late delivery.

Canada Post Xpresspost USA

2-3 business days

An express option for the US. This method also includes full tracking.

Our most affordable international shipping option for small items. Please be advised that this method does NOT include tracking or an on-time delivery guarantee. For this reason, we won’t be able to provide you with information about the whereabouts of your package beyond what you’re able to see in your shipping confirmation email, nor will we be responsible for issues arising as a result of late delivery.

6-10 business days

The best mix of economy and security for small items, this method includes full tracking details. It does not include an on-time delivery guarantee from Canada Post, so Café Fabrique will not be responsible for issues arising as a result of late delivery.

Canada Post Xpresspost International

2-5 business days

A faster shipping method for small items, and the cheapest method for items beyond packet size, this includes full tracking.
